If you are requesting a course change, please be aware that most requests will not be able to be accommodated as all classes are very full. If you have successfully completed a credit during summer school or are requesting a pathway change for your post secondary plans Guidance will review your request with you.
Change requests must be completed using this change request form. Please do not come to Guidance or book an appointment using the usual appointment links. Requests will be reviewed in priority order. You must attend your timetable as is until Guidance has had the opportunity to call you down and review your requests.
The following are priority reasons for making a course change:
1) You are a Grade 12 student and need a course for graduation
2) You are a Grade 9, 10, 11 student who has a spare in your timetable
3) You need a pathway/course level change
4) You do not have the pre-requisite for a course you are registered in
5) You have already earned the credit in a class you are enrolled in

Timetables can now be viewed in the TVDSB parent and student portals. FAQ and support for logging in can be found on the Thames Valley website.
Bus Routes
Bussing details should be reviewed before the first day and several times in the first months of school as routes are likely to be adjusted and pick up times, drop off times, and locations are subject to change.
Students and parents should be checking the Student Transportation Services website www.mybigyellowbus.ca and monitoring delays and cancellations there or through the STS app.
New Gr 9’s
Please enter the school through the main doors and head straight to your homeroom.
Orientation activities will take place throughout the first week. Homeroom teachers will hand a school provided lock to students and go with them to their lockers on the first day. Personal locks are not permitted.
Returning Grade 12’s
Returning grade 12’s are not automatically assigned a locker. If you require a locker please come to the main office to make the request.
Grade Assemblies
Grade assemblies will take place for Grade’s 11 and 12 in the first week. Grades 9 and 10 will be visited in their homerooms.
